Vital is on the lookout for a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with 5-10 years of product development experience. You will own subsystem performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost as a technical interface with contract manufacturers. Your responsibilities will include driving technical success and enhancing communication across Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, and Software teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary interface with contract manufacturers

• Resolve issues affecting production and calibration

• Lead investigations and implement corrective actions

• Own technical communications with suppliers

• Support verification and integration of hardware modules

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

• 5-10 years of experience in product development

• Strong CAD skills, Solid Works preferred

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Experience in regulated industries, medical devices a plus
