Thurber Engineering is seeking a Junior or Intermediate Technician to conduct vital lab testing. This full-time role will have you preparing soil samples, conducting tests, and ensuring accurate reporting for our engineering team and external clients. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, contributing to important projects affecting various industries including construction and environmental applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct lab testing for geotechnical projects

• Prepare and set up soil samples efficiently

• Collect and plot lab results for reporting

• Test soils for index parameters

• Maintain lab equipment and ensure optimal operations

Requirements:

• Post-secondary program in Engineering Technology

• CCIL certification in lab testing

• Experience in a lab environment

• Valid Class G Driver's license

• Instrumentation testing experience preferred
