At Geotab, you will join a leading-edge technology firm as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. Working closely with the Automotive and Production Teams, you will assist in creating cable assemblies, reviewing prototypes, and managing documentation. This role supports initiatives by cooperating with manufacturers and internal stakeholders while ensuring product engineering requirements are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create harness and cable schematics using Solid Works
• Assist with testing and compliance criteria on designs
• Build engineering prototypes per specifications
• Maintain comprehensive document control and revision history
• Review sampling compliance with approved specs
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Solid Works experience is an asset
• 3D printing knowledge considered beneficial
• Hands-on experience in prototyping and tool design
• Ability to evaluate engineering documentation for compliance
