Enhance your engineering skills with Veolia as a Field Engineering Intern in Hamilton, ON. This full-time co-op offers hands-on experience in industrial water treatment systems.
In this 14-month internship starting May 2027, you'll join an experienced team at Veolia, a global leader in environmental services. Participants will support water treatment processes while developing their technical skills in chemical tasks and equipment monitoring. This role is perfect for students pursuing degrees in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate system drawings and PFDs for proposals
• Conduct wet testing on water samples in the lab
• Monitor process equipment using online tools
• Manage bulk chemical inventory and assist with ordering
• Perform field checks on process equipment efficiently
Requirements:
• Experience with basic chemical tasks and lab instruments
• Mechanical skills for troubleshooting equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Full-time availability for 14 months from May 2027
