** Senior Financial Analyst, Business Restructuring & Turnaround Services
** to join our Corporate Restructuring team. This is a new role, and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
* Analyzing financial data, reviewing financial models and accounting records;
* Assessing companies’ current financial position, business plans and financial forecasts;
* Preparing integrated cash flow models;
* Assisting the team in advising corporations, lenders, creditors, shareholders, regulators or the Courts through financial reviews, business turnarounds, and financial restructurings (formal or informal);
* Participating in practice development opportunities; and
* Flexibility to meet stakeholders and work during non-business hours.

** Your experience and education
*** 2 - 3 years of experience in a professional accounting services firm (in Audit an asset)
* Experience in the corporate restructuring field is an asset, but not required
* Proven analytical and systematic problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
* Enrolled or willing to enroll in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) program
* Have obtained or in the process of pursuing the CPA accounting  designation
* Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills
* Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required
* Candidate must have access to reliable transportation, as travel to other BDO offices and off-site locations may be required.

* The expected range of compensation for this role is* $68,000-$104,000 annually.
