Financial Analyst – Financial Reporting & Corporate Accounting

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, investigating variances and ensuring integrity of consolidated data.
• Support the corporate consolidation process in Oracle FCC.
• Assist in maintaining reporting hierarchies, mapping files and metadata within Oracle FCC and assist with Smart View reporting templates.
• Participate in the preparation of consolidated management reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards.
• Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements and notes to disclosure under IFRS.
• Support quarterly and year-end audit processes by preparing working papers and responding to auditor inquiries.

• 1 to 3 years of post-qualification or related experience, preferably in a centralized head office environment.
• Strong analytical skills combined with solid experience working with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with financial consolidation software (e.g. FCC) would be an asset.
• Professional accounting designation or currently working toward a CPA designation.

The expected compensation range for this position is $60,433.60 - $83,096.20. This range includes base pay and target variable pay. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We also consider internal equity to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. This range reflects the expected full compensation range for the role; most offers will fall within the range and not at the maximum in order to allow for future growth.
