Your OpportunityOur Oakville office is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Business Restructuring & Turnaround Services to join our Corporate Restructuring team. This is a new role, and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
- Analyzing financial data, reviewing financial models and accounting records;
- Assessing companies’ current financial position, business plans and financial forecasts;
- Preparing integrated cash flow models;
- Assisting the team in advising corporations, lenders, creditors, shareholders, regulators or the Courts through financial reviews, business turnarounds, and financial restructurings (formal or informal);
- Participating in practice development opportunities; and
- Flexibility to meet stakeholders and work during non‑business hours.

- 2 – 3 years of experience in a professional accounting services firm (in Audit an asset).
- Experience in the corporate restructuring field is an asset, but not required.
- Proven analytical and systematic problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Enrolled or willing to enroll in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) program.
- Have obtained or in the process of pursuing the CPA accounting designation.
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills.
- Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required.
- Candidate must have access to reliable transportation, as travel to other BDO offices and off‑site locations may be required.
The expected range of compensation for this role is $68,000-$104,000 annually.
