Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a large Canadian retail organization is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst is as follows:

Work with financial services stakeholders to create and maintain business cases for a new company strategy.

Create and enhance Excel financial models aimed at simplifying business processes and improving accuracy.

Create reports in Microsoft Power BI.

Develop a strong understanding of company strategy and financial results.

Support internal clients with ad hoc analysis requests.

Requirements

A University degree or college diploma in Finance/Accounting, Economics, Math, or another related field.

Professional accreditation such as CPA or CFA an asset.

Creativity and the ability to work through highly ambiguous tasks.

Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate across various levels within the organization.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is considered an asset; online training is provided.
