Job Description:

Our client, a large Canadian retail organization is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst is as follows:

- Work with financial services stakeholders to create and maintain business cases for a new company strategy.

- Create and enhance Excel financial models aimed at simplifying business processes and improving accuracy.

- Create reports in Microsoft Power BI.

- Develop a strong understanding of company strategy and financial results.

- Support internal clients with ad hoc analysis requests.

Job Requirements:

- A University degree or college diploma in Finance/Accounting, Economics, Math, or another related field.

- Professional accreditation such as CPA or CFA an asset.

- Creativity and the ability to work through highly ambiguous tasks.

- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate across various levels within the organization.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is considered an asset; online training is provided.
