Senior Financial Analyst

• Prepare and review consolidation and corporate entries in accordance with IFRS, including: accruals accounting, capitalized interest, mortgages, derivatives, and intercompany transfers
• Support management in researching and applying accounting policies, and assist in developing accounting guidance for significant accounting issues and transactions
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial statement package, which includes the balance sheet, income statement, KPIs and covenants
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly public reporting materials, including disclosures relating to debt, G&A, interest expense and other corporate accounts
• Support the year end annual audit as well as quarterly reviews and represent a key point of contact for the audit team
• Assist management with other ad-hoc projects as company continues to grow, including acquisitions, process improvement within financial reporting, and financial system upgrades (namely Yardi)
• Support cash management and coordinate setup and approval of wire transfers/EFT, relating to acquisitions and operating expenses, through multiple online banking platforms

• CPA, or working towards a CPA, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in a large audit firm or public company environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, including consolidation, financial statement and MD&A preparation, and public reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel skills required
• You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.

$80,000 - $100,000 / year

• The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
