Siemens Healthineers invites applications for the Field Service Representative (Lab Diagnostics) position located in Central Ontario (Toronto). The role is remote, based in the Greater Toronto Area, and requires extensive travel to support customer needs.
About the RoleAs a Field Service Representative (FSR), you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Siemens Healthcare Lab Diagnostic equipment at customer sites. You will also provide effective repairs, train operators, manage financial performance, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare Lab Diagnostic equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
- Manage financial performance within your territory, meeting or exceeding revenue and expense targets while controlling inventory.
- Maintain company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
- Biomedical Technology, Electronics, Electrical Electronics Technologist, or equivalent diploma.
- 2+ years of technical field service experience.
- Strong mechanical and technical ability.
- Solid computer skills with understanding of IT and networking.
- Customer‑centric mindset.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and passport.
- Valid clearance for domestic and international travel without restrictions.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ownership and accountability.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Excellent planning, critical thinking, and time‑management skills.
The base pay range for this position is $62,500 – $112,500 per year, varying with experience and qualifications. Siemens Healthineers offers health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
