Position SummaryThe Business Intelligence & Data Systems Analyst plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the company's data ecosystem and transforming data into actionable business insights. This position is responsible for overseeing key data platforms, supporting reporting and analytics initiatives, and partnering directly with business stakeholders to develop KPIs, dashboards, and standardized reporting solutions.
The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong business acumen to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and meaningful decision support across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Systems Management
- Administer and support the company's data and analytics environment, including Snowflake, Fivetran, Census, Veeva CRM and related data integrations.
- Monitor data pipelines and integrations to ensure reliability, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Troubleshoot data issues and coordinate resolution with internal and external partners.
- Maintain data governance standards, documentation, and system best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve data architecture, automation, and reporting efficiency.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Qlik Sense.
- Create and maintain standardized reporting for commercial, finance, operations, and executive teams.
- Design and implement KPI frameworks that support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of metrics across the organization.
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams to understand reporting needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor on data availability, reporting capabilities, and analytical insights.
- Support business planning, forecasting, and performance management activities through data analysis.
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear and actionable manner.
- Analyze business performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Validate data quality and investigate discrepancies.
- Support special projects involving data integration, automation, and business process improvement.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data management, or a related role.
- Strong experience with Qlik Sense dashboard development and reporting.
- Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Experience managing data integrations and ETL processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Fivetran, Census and Veeva CRM data.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
- Experience with forecasting, commercial analytics, or KPI development.

Location:
Oakville, ON (hybrid 2 days per week in-office currently)
Salary Range: $70-$85K base pay.
