Join Softchoice as a CMDB Specialist, overseeing Configuration Management data quality and governance. Drive improvements in IT service management as a trusted source of truth.
In this crucial role, you will manage the CMDB end-to-end, ensuring data quality through effective CI lifecycle management and mapping. You’ll collaborate with various technical teams to support service delivery and continuous improvement. Deep expertise in CI relationships and ITIL practices is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Configuration Management end-to-end policies and standards
• Ensure accurate CI naming conventions and completeness of attributes
• Conduct CMDB health assessments and publish data quality metrics
• Manage CI lifecycle events, maintaining accurate infrastructure records
• Triage CMDB data quality exceptions rapidly and effectively
Requirements:
• 3+ years in CMDB administration or ITSM data governance
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification required
• Experience with Service Now CMDB or similar platforms
• Understanding of CI relationships and dependency mapping
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills
