As a Depot Technician, you will be responsible for safely processing hazardous and non-hazardous materials, requiring teamwork and a strong safety focus. The role demands the ability to perform physically intensive tasks and provide excellent support to patrons visiting the depot.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the MHSW Depot with efficiency and care
• Assist residents with their hazardous waste disposal
• Ensure safety of all workers and site visitors
• Sort, weigh, and pack waste materials appropriately
• Keep the facility clean and compliant with regulations
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma/degree is necessary
• At least two years of relevant MHSW experience
• Valid G License and reliable transport required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Capable of physical labor
