Overnight Janitor

Position: Full-Time Overnight Janitor at Canlan Sports
Become a key part of Canlan Sports as a Full-Time Overnight Janitor. This role involves proactive cleaning and minor repairs to keep our sports complex pristine and inviting.

Canlan Sports is seeking a meticulous Janitor to maintain the upkeep of our facilities during the overnight shift from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM. The ideal candidate is hands-on and passionate about community service, ensuring cleanliness and safety in all areas from entrances to grounds. You will perform janitorial tasks and assist with minor maintenance as needed, contributing to a well-kept recreational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general janitorial tasks per building and fire codes

• Maintain cleanliness of entrances, grounds, and parking lot

• Conduct vacuuming, scrubbing, and floor care as required

• Assist with minor maintenance and ice upkeep during peaks

• Keep records of cleaning checklists and reports

Requirements:

• Completed high school education or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Prior janitorial experience in commercial settings

• Building Service Worker Certificate (BC) is an asset

• Flexibility for evenings and weekends
