Job Description:
  • We are seeking a Warehouse Inventory Associate to manage, handle, prepare, and maintain product and inventory to support shipping, receiving, and production requirements.
  • The role involves operating equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, cycle counting, understanding packaging requirements, and performing data entry to ensure proper inventory management.
  • Requirement/Must Have:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of transportation of dangerous goods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
  • Good communication skills and customer focus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, reaching, and moving materials.
  • Flexibility to work shifts or extended hours as required.
  • Experience:
  • Operating job-specific equipment such as industrial staplers, banding machines, barcode scanners, and forklifts.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy and storage according to FIFO procedures.
  • Performing cycle counts and other inventory checks as required.
  • Understanding packaging requirements to prevent product damage.
  • Performing daily data entry of inventory and order documentation.
  • Filing and routing documentation to appropriate departments.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Move, handle, prepare, and maintain product/inventory for shipping, receiving, and production needs.
  • Operate appropriate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate storage and stock location maintenance.
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in inventory systems.
  • Follow packaging and handling procedures to prevent damage.
  • Support team operations and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Qualification And

    Education:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Basic computer and ERP system knowledge.
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong organizational, physical, and team-oriented skills.
