Reporting to the Day Shift Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for producing quality products that meet company specifications while following proper GMP procedures.
This recruitment post is for full-time role based at our Manufacturing plant located in Oakville. The incumbent shall be on an Afternoon schedule.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in production and packaging in the food industry is preferable
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to safety operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (36.5 kg)
- Proven track record of reliability and safety
- Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare various products to specifications using a formula sheet
- Weight, measure, mix ingredients according to specific recipes
- Operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring proper settings and adjustments
- Follow established procedures and recipes to ensure consistency and quality of products
- Maintain accurate of ingredients used, batch numbers and production times
- Complete all documentation required for each batch of products including pre-operation form, temperature charts, record weights and product yield
- Bring product samples to Quality Assurance for inspection/ release and advise QA of any product deviations Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Follow all Health and Safety, GMP and food safety policies and regulations reporting any deviations to the Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned

Compensation:
Starting hourly rate of $25.40 with progressive increases over 3 years to current top rate of $29.37 (not including applicable premium(s).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policy / program / plan, based on individual and company performance metrics.
