Position: Emergency Nurse Role in Halton Region
Step into the critical role of Registered Nurse within our Emergency Department, supporting Halton and surrounding communities. We handle a high volume of patients and provide comprehensive medical care every day.

Candidates are expected to hold current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and to have extensive experience in Emergency Department settings.

Your role will involve practicing in our 54 bed ED and engaging with a skilled, multidisciplinary team. An ACLS certification at time of hire and an on-site course completion within the first year are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage patients swiftly and efficiently

• Facilitate comprehensive referrals with nursing staff

• Ensure quality care across all medical conditions

• Operate within our specialized mental health unit

• Manage shift responsibilities effectively with teamwork

Requirements:

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Proven emergency department experience essential

• Valid ACLS certification upon hire

• Proficiency in ECG interpretation preferred

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
