Part Time Registered Nurse

Enhance care quality as a part time Registered Nurse with Extendicare. Provide direct care, medication administration, and documentation in a supportive long-term care environment.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Health and Wellness to ensure that residents receive optimal care and support through thorough assessments and well-coordinated service plans. Your focus on compliance with Revera's standards and strong communication will be essential to facilitate residents' care conferences and safe medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete assessments and update service plans for residents
• Assist in scheduling and participating in care conferences
• Manage medication ordering and compliance with regulations
• Supervise Unregulated Care Providers in medication administration
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and resident concerns
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse registration in applicable Province/State
• Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge in gerontology or long term care environments
• Recent Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (within 6 months)
