Position: Clinical Resource Nurse for Emergency Department
Halton Healthcare is hiring a Clinical Resource Nurse to enhance care in the Emergency Department. This vital role involves leadership and collaboration to support patient needs.

As a Clinical Resource Nurse, you will coordinate nursing operations and facilitate a learning environment for staff. You must demonstrate extensive experience in Emergency Nursing, including charge roles. Monitor patient care activities, lead initiatives, and participate in clinical committees to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the nursing team in the Emergency Department

• Manage clinical operations and resources effectively

• Seek improvement opportunities and monitor quality indicators

• Attend relevant meetings and contribute to departmental initiatives

• Participate in the recruitment and continuous training of staff

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is required

• Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred

• Minimum five years of Emergency Nursing experience including charge roles

• Current BCLS, ACLS, and CTAS certifications

• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
