In this role, you will apply your nursing knowledge to support residents effectively. As an RPN, you will work closely with Registered Nurses to implement nursing protocols and ensure quality care. You'll also direct and support Personal Support Workers, fostering a cooperative environment within the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to elderly residents
• Work alongside Registered Nurses for effective care delivery
• Communicate with physicians regarding resident statuses
• Lead and guide Personal Support Workers on the team
• Conduct shift reports for seamless information exchange
Requirements:
• Valid nursing certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experienced in long-term or geriatric care
• Familiarity with health care legislation and regulations
• Strong commitment to teamwork and resident care
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
