Travel Registered Nurse – Specialty – British Columbia

Completed contract $500. 1 year long commitment bonus $1000.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you have spent years developing an extensive knowledge base and established a firm understanding of quality patient care. We can help take your skills and experiences to the next level. Guardian Healthcare is an advocate for nurses in Canada, holding contracts with many hospitals and acute care settings.

Shifts are 8 to 12 hours, depending on facility placement needs. Ability to pick up overtime and be on call.

• 2+ years’ (or 4000 hours equivalent) clinical experience working in emergency departments within Canada.
• Baccalaureate Degree (BScN) or Diploma in Nursing.
• Valid BC RN License with BCCNM.
• Incorporated or Sole Proprietor.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in valid standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing or the ability to obtain one.
• Current CTAS, TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications mandatory and must be maintained.
• Current NRP (preferred).
• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (MMVR), tetanus, diphtheria, polio, pertussis, hepatitis

• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or a negative chest x‑ray within the past five (5) years.
• Negative police check within the last two years.
• Minimum of two COVID vaccines.
• Current N95 mask fit certificate.
• Cultural safety and humility training will be an asset.
