This role requires a resilient Registered Nurse with a current Ontario registration to support patients experiencing severe mental health challenges. You will work 12-hour shifts, integrating comprehensive assessments and collaborative treatment plans for high-risk adolescents in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage acutely ill psychiatric patients
• Implement treatment plans with multidisciplinary collaboration
• Liaise with community agencies for follow-up care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies
• Maintain thorough documentation in electronic health records
Requirements:
• Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification at time of hire
• 1-5 years of acute psychiatric nursing experience
• CPI certification required
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act of Ontario
