RAI Coordinator

Position: RAI Coordinator at AgeCare
Shape resident care at Age Care as the RAI Coordinator. This role focuses on MDS administration, staff education, and enhancing long-term care practices in a supportive environment.

Age Care seeks an RAI Coordinator to oversee MDS processes within the interdisciplinary team. You will lead education initiatives, ensuring MDS documentation is accurate and timely. Candidates must hold a nursing designation and have significant experience in long-term care to contribute effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and coordinate MDS documentation effectively

• Provide education and training using a train-the-trainer model

• Monitor compliance and audit MDS assessments completion

• Assist with coding accuracy and provide support materials

• Develop resident assessment schedules for team accessibility

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario

• Minimum three years in clinical, leadership, or management roles

• Knowledgeable about the Long-Term Care Act

• Strong understanding of MDS documentation requirements

• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred
