This role entails caring for chronic and acute hemodialysis patients across multiple sites, including Oakville, Milton, and Georgetown. Candidates must hold a valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have experience in hemodialysis. Patient assessment, education, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care for hemodialysis patients in various settings
• Initiate and monitor dialysis treatments as required
• Educate patients about their care plans and procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment as necessary during treatments
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Experience with acute hemodialysis treatments
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and under pressure
