Your role will focus on providing compassionate care to postpartum women and their infants.
This permanent position requires a 0.50 FTE availability with flexible day and night shifts. Here, you will be instrumental in enhancing patient experiences while delivering hands-on nursing support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide caring support for postpartum mothers and newborns
• Offer guidance and assistance with breastfeeding
• Utilize venipuncture and I.V. therapy skills competently
• Collaborate within the OT Ante/Postpartum team
• Uphold a strong attendance and employment record
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Life Support certification required at start
• Breastfeeding certificate necessary for employment
• Possession of a Perinatal Nursing Certificate is preferred
• Ability to fulfill physical demands of the job
