Perioperative Clinical Resource Nurse

Coordinate OR and APU operations at Halton Healthcare on temporary full-time weekday day shifts, using perioperative leadership and staffing expertise. Support safe, timely patient flow across the department.

This Clinical Resource Nurse manages daily operational activities with the perioperative team. The position oversees scheduling, staffing assignments, evidence-based practice, and clinical learning while supporting quality improvement. The temporary contract lasts approximately one year.

• Coordinate daily OR and APU operational activities
• Facilitate safe, timely patient flow with colleagues
• Create a safe evidence-based clinical environment
• Schedule departments and assign daily staffing coverage
• Monitor quality indicators and identify improvement strategies

• Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
• Current BCLS and perioperative certifications
• Five to seven years of current OR experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Change management and conflict resolution abilities
