Quality Assurance Coordinator

Ground Effects is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Operations team in Oakville, Ontario .

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our quality standards and procedures are followed throughout the production process. You will perform inspections and audits, support continuous improvement initiatives, investigate quality concerns, and help maintain compliance with customer and industry requirements.

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Conduct and document first-off inspections and approve production start-ups.
• Complete and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and associated documentation.
• Identify, document, and control non-conforming materials in accordance with company procedures.
• Issue and communicate quality alerts, rework instructions, and containment requirements as needed.
• Maintain communication with production supervisors regarding quality-related concerns and performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, process effectiveness, and operational excellence.
• Assist with product launches, trial runs, validation activities, and PPAP requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of quality procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience working in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
