Join BWXT as a Lead NDE Technician Level 2, specializing in Non-Destructive Examination. Work onsite in Oakville, ensuring compliance with quality standards in nuclear manufacturing.
At BWXT Precision Manufacturing Inc., you will take the lead on Non-Destructive Examination inspections, requiring CGSB Level II certification in both PT and MT. With a minimum of three years in the NDE field, you will help resolve technical issues, manage daily inspection schedules, and prepare essential documentation for client contracts.
Your role is crucial in maintaining high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead in-house NDE inspections as part of quality control
• Analyze and resolve NDE-related technical issues
• Coordinate daily NDE inspection scheduling
• Prepare inspection documentation for review and approval
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications
Requirements:
• Certification in PT and MT methods (CGSB Level II)
• At least 3 years NDE experience, with a year as certified
• Expertise with precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of quality programs like ASME and ISO
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
