Cashier Merchandiser

We are a family run business located in Oakville, ON since 1977. We pride ourselves in deliverinng excellent customer service and quality products. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team in a fast paced environment. Cashiers directly interact with customers, helping them make their shopping experience a successful one. • This position requires that you be available to work Tuesdays thru Saturdays (regular store hours).
• Sunday and Mondays the store is closed.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an cashier to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the Cashier is regularly required to:

• Stand and/or walk.
• Bend, twist, and squat.
• Lift and/or move up to 18 kg (10 lbs.).
• Perform tasks involving firm grasping.
• Perform repetitive tasks requiring a range of hand motions.
• Reach above shoulder height and below waist level.

Cashing out customers

Assisting them with their purchases

Merchandising grocery shelves in an attractive manner when needed

Familiarize yourself with the groceries we carry in order to assist customers

Periodic Inventory Counts

Answering the phone when necessary
