Sales Coordinator – Sports & Fitness Division
ACI Brands Inc. is one of Canada’s largest multi‑division consumer goods distributors. Located in Oakville at the Mississauga border, our dynamic organization is excited to offer a new opportunity for a Sales Coordinator – Sports & Fitness Division.
We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and results‑driven individual with proven experience in the consumer goods industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about sales, data‑driven decision‑making, and building strong retail partnerships.
Position OverviewReporting to the Director of Sales – Sports & Fitness, the Sales Coordinator will provide direct support to internal and external sales teams and a wide range of retail accounts. The role involves collaborating closely with the sales team, processing orders, preparing sales reports, and tracking weekly inventory and sales performance to identify growth opportunities. The position emphasizes accurate and timely completion of all documentation and reporting required by key accounts and sales representatives.
Responsibilities& Key Tasks
- Sales support – act as a key point of contact for many of our retailers and sales representatives, managing day‑to‑day tasks, building long‑term partnerships, and ensuring client needs are met efficiently.
- Coordination – liaise between sales, marketing, and other internal teams.
- Data Analysis & Strategy – conduct in‑depth analysis of sales, inventory, and performance reports to identify trends, root causes, and growth opportunities.
- Customer Service Coordination – handle client inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Administrative Duties – process orders, maintain records, and handle general office tasks.
- Reporting – create and review sales reports to track performance across all metrics.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of Amazon Vendor Central, digital content, and e‑commerce best practices.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with both internal and external partners.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend solutions.
- High attention to detail and strong business acumen.
- Curious, critical thinker who enjoys asking "why" to uncover opportunities.
- Self‑starter with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, team‑first, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Able to manage competing priorities and maintain sound judgment under pressure.
- College Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum two (2) years of customer service or sales support experience.
- Experience with vendor management systems such as SPS Commerce and major retail portals (e.g., Retail Link, Vendor Central).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- ERP system experience is an asset.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
- Golf, fitness, and sporting goods industry experience is an asset.
- Ability to work on‑site at the office a minimum of three (3) days per week.
