Mid Level Security Officer

Position: Mid Level Security Officer at Kiewit
Lead Kiewit's corporate security efforts as a Mid Level Security Officer. This full-time role focuses on compliance, security program leadership, and supporting Canadian federal projects.

As the Company Security Officer (CSO) at Kiewit, you will establish and manage the corporate security program under Canadian federal requirements. Your key responsibilities will include developing security policies and ensuring compliance with the PSPC Contract Security Program. This role demands strong oversight of security clearances, documentation, and training programs for various stakeholders in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop security policies in compliance with PSPC requirements

• Administer the Canadian Defence Security Program

• Maintain security clearances and documentation accuracy

• Monitor compliance through audits and inspections

• Train staff on security awareness and best practices

Requirements:

• Government of Canada Secret security clearance or higher

• Experience as a CSO, ACSO, or equivalent

• Strong understanding of security governance and project delivery

• Familiar with PSPC Contract Security Program administration

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
