Suncor is hiring an Emergency Management Advisor to ensure effective emergency planning and response in Midstream locations. Focus on community resilience and safety protocols in operations.
In this advisory role at Suncor, you will be instrumental in creating and overseeing emergency management strategies across Ethanol Production Units. With extensive experience in emergency response—five years in fire protection or ten years industrial experience—you'll develop comprehensive response plans and training programs. Collaboration with external partners and internal teams will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency planning support and incident command
• Update and manage emergency response documentation
• Ensure readiness through equipment maintenance coordination
• Deliver and assess emergency response training
• Lead community-focused emergency exercises
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Five years in fire protection or a decade in emergency services
• Fluent in both English and French
• NFPA certification and ICS training
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
