Youth Support Worker - Mental Health Focus

Engage and support youth as a Youth Worker in our Accredited Children’s Mental Health Facility. Help implement treatment plans and guide youth through structured programs.

We are looking for a Youth Worker who will be part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to high-risk adolescents. This vital role entails engaging youth in clinical, recreational, and educational activities while also supporting their emotional needs. The position may involve escorting youth to necessary appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily routines and therapeutic activities for youth

• Help implement treatment plans collaboratively with the team

• Provide support during clinical and medical interventions

• Escort youth to court and other relevant appointments

• Foster positive interactions to encourage youth development

Requirements:

• Graduate diploma in Child and Youth work or relevant area

• Minimum 3 years working with high-risk youth required

• Current First Aid/CPR Level C certification

• Experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy is advantageous

• Valid Ontario driver’s license is considered beneficial
