Part-Time Social Worker at SMLS

Reporting to the Principal of the Junior School, the Social Worker focuses on enhancing the social and emotional health of students. You will work closely with educators and interdisciplinary teams, applying trauma-informed practice while conducting workshops and providing direct support. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group support across all grades

• Conduct workshops on conflict management and self-regulation

• Attend Circle of Care meetings in all divisions

• Manage student and parent referrals effectively

• Facilitate restorative justice circles during conflicts

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred

• Background in social work or related field

• Experience working with students an asset

• Proficiency in Mac and Google Suite is beneficial

• Committed to equity and inclusion in practice
