Promote and support youth services as a Community Outreach Coordinator with White Buffalo Treatment Centre Inc. Develop relationships with First Nations communities while assisting at-risk youth with vital resources.
This position focuses on delivering educational sessions, assessing client needs, and coordinating referrals to enhance the support available for youth. Responsibilities include extensive travel to communities and managing essential documentation for effective outreach operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead educational presentations and workshops
• Maintain relationships with community partners and agencies
• Coordinate the admissions process and intake procedures
• Conduct assessments to identify barriers to service
• Support planning and transportation activities for clients
Requirements:
• Certificate or diploma in social work or related field with three years of experience
• Strong report-writing and organizational skills
• Must possess a Class 5 drivers license
• First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention certifications required
• Ability to travel extensively
