Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure, .NET, Hybrid

Our client, an innovative industry leader in the insurance domain, is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure, .NET, Hybrid to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of backend programming in C# and .NET, excellent Azure skills, and experience with a wide variety of Azure services.

This is a full‑time permanent role. The position is hybrid, requiring three days per week in office. Candidates must be based in Canada and legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada. Two managerial references and criminal, credit, education, and employment background checks are required.

Develop, deploy, and maintain Azure‑based solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement backend services in C# and .NET. Manage and optimize Azure services such as Azure SQL, API Management (APIM), Azure Container Service, Kubernetes service, and Dev Ops pipelines. Lead container‑based deployments and support continuous integration and delivery practices.

• C#.NET – 7 years+ experience
• Azure Cloud Platform Expertise – 5–8 years+ experience
• Azure SQL – 4 years+ experience
• APIM – 4 years+ experience
• Azure Container Service – 4 years+ experience
• Dev Ops environment – 4 years+ experience
• Container‑based deployments – 4 years+ experience

• Azure Kubernetes Service – 4 years+ experience
• Certified Azure Developer Associate (AZ‑204) – 4 years+ experience
• Experience with TDD or BDD – 1–2 years+ experience
