GFL AZ Operator – Hazardous Waste Collection

Become an integral part of GFL as an AZ Operator for hazardous waste collection in Oakville, Ontario. This full-time opportunity focuses on delivering excellent service while adhering to safety regulations.

In this position, you will support the liquids/organics team and operate various vehicles, including tankers.

Your role involves managing paperwork for compliance and ensuring all waste is handled safely. Experience in heavy machinery is advantageous, although training is available for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate motorized vehicles to collect hazardous waste

• Safely manage tanker operations and transportation

• Complete documentation for compliance and inspections

• Load and unload materials at client sites

• Follow Environmental and Health & Safety policies

Requirements:

• Three years of driver/operator experience preferred

• Valid AZ driver’s license with clean driving history

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Willingness to learn and adapt is essential
