Staff Nurse Hospital

Hospital at home is a redesign of acute care; focusing on admission avoidance pathways and supporting discharge to shorten hospital length of stay.

Research has proven that hospital admission increases risks of hospital acquired infections, mobility issues and loss of care packages. Hospital at Home offers Consultant led hospital level interventions in the patient's home.

The Band 5 post within Hospital at Home will primarily be providing clinical skills to patients, including daily assessment and monitoring under the supervision of senior nurses with the team.

The post is currently fixed term until 31 Dec 2026 giving potential fixed term post or secondment opportunities for interested Band 5 nurses.

The banding of the post is comparable with other H@H projects around Scotland.
