Lorne Resource Centre is a day support environment for adults with learning and physical disabilities/autism and neurodiversity.

All the people we support have full participation and inclusion with the decisions that affect their lives.

Lorne Resource Centre is a care inspectorate support service, and we strive to make it as fun and comfortable as we can. However, our role is supporting individuals to be as independent as they can and be part of their local communities as much as possible.

We need enthusiastic people to join us at Lorne Day support as casual Support Workers.

You would support individuals with every aspect of their lives to ensure they meet their outcomes.

You should be able to deliver the best person‑centred support that we can.

The role is diverse and each day is never the same. We work to clearly defined support and outcome frameworks to ensure that the people we support have meaningful lives and choices.

Experience would be an advantage though not essential as you will be trained in the support approaches.

You should be passionate about supporting others to the best of your ability.

You may have transferable skills from children/education or other types of social care.
