HGV Driver - Class 2 - Oban (No Overnights!)

Join the team at Travis Perkins plc as an HGV Driver Class 2 in Oban. You will be responsible for delivering building materials from our branch to local customers, ensuring all loads are properly secured and compliant with regulations.

• Social hours: no overnight stays or late evenings, giving you an excellent work/life balance.
• Full‑time, permanent hours:
  Employed directly with Travis Perkins.
• Competitive salary with bonus potential: driver bonus up to £1,800 quarterly + branch bonus up to £900 annually (total £2,700).

You’ll load your vehicle with a HIAB, double‑check that everything is packed and legal, and then make around 14 drops a day, returning to the branch to reload as needed. You will uphold professional standards as our face on the road and prioritize safety in every task.

• Requirements:
  Class 2 driving license, up‑to‑date CPC records, and 12+ months of driving experience.
• HIAB experience: not required – we’ll fund your training.
• Customer‑focused: confident building and developing relationships with customers.
• Safety‑focused: prioritize safety in every aspect of work, performing tasks professionally.
