Lorain County JVS OverviewLorain County JVS is a Career and Technical Education Training Center. It consists of a public high school for students grades 9-12 and the Adult Career Center which offers training and educational opportunities for adults.

Salary$23.08 per hour
Reports ToCoordinator/Supervisor/AE Director
Minimum Requirements- Five (5) years experience for vocational classes
- Proven technology related skills
- Ability to multi-task in a changing environment
- Team player – willingness to work effectively in a team environment
- Desire to motivate and assist young people in setting educational, social and behavioral goals
- Ability to work with students having a wide range of abilities and skill levels
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Sincere interest and commitment to work with students, parents, staff, businesses, and community organizations
- Verified previous teaching experience
- Strong teaching related skills
- Ability to develop curriculum, knowledge of instructional techniques
