Job Summary

Provides required Body Shop repairs along with fundamental fleet maintenance repair of Hogan tractor and truck equipment, including the removal, replacement and repair of any and all components of the tractor or truck.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Diagnoses and repairs for all damaged equipment along with fundamental maintenance repairs to tractors and trucks using well-established policies and procedures to restore equipment back to original state.
  • Paints vehicles to company standards.
  • Able to perform safe and meaningful welding practices to include aluminum.
  • Installs and removes decals, as necessary
  • Identifies parts and/or systems for repair; repairs or replaces, as appropriate, such as radiator replacements, CAC and Condenser replacements as needed.
  • Removes broken parts and replaces with new or reconditioned parts.
  • Road tests vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure a safe operating vehicle.
  • Inspects, repairs and maintains general trailer structural and suspension systems.
  • Maintains accurate, updated maintenance records.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • 4 years of apprenticeship (Journeyman) or 4 years of experience in Truck/Trailer Body shop repair
  • CDL License, Class A or B (or obtain within a specified timeframe after employment)
  • Experience in Fiberglass repair to repair vehicles to company standards to include panel repairs, straightening and filling when required.
  • EPA License (as appropriate)
  • High school education or GED
  • In-depth knowledge of all hand, air and power tools required for this industry
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of welding and Oxy/Acetylene cutting procedures
  • Clean MVR
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
