Service Coordinator

Auction Direct RV is seeking an organized, dependable, and motivated Service Coordinator to oversee daily service operations, coordinate technicians, manage repair schedules, and handle warranty claims.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and can keep a busy RV service department running efficiently.

• Schedule RV repairs, inspections, and maintenance.
• Assign daily work to service technicians.
• Monitor repair progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and make-ready repairs.
• Track technician productivity and outstanding work.

• Create, update, and close service work orders.
• Write up warranty repairs with accurate descriptions and documentation.
• Submit warranty claims to manufacturers and extended warranty providers.
• Obtain repair authorizations and track claim approvals.
• Follow up on outstanding warranty payments and denied claims.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, parts, and completed repairs.

• Schedule service appointments and coordinate RV pickups.
• Provide customers with repair updates and completion estimates.
• Communicate repair costs, warranty coverage, and delays.
• Address customer questions and service concerns.

• Coordinate parts ordering and availability.
• Track backordered parts and follow up on deliveries.
• Schedule outside vendors when necessary.
• Ensure technicians have the parts needed to complete assigned repairs.

• Work with sales to ensure sold RVs are ready for delivery.
• Prioritize inventory repairs and customer service work.
• Maintain an accurate list of RVs awaiting repairs, parts, or warranty approvals.
• Provide management with regular updates on service department operations.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience in RV, automotive, marine, or similar service operations preferred.
• Warranty claims processing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate multiple technicians.

The Service Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining efficient repair turnaround times, accurate work orders, timely warranty submissions, productive technician scheduling, and clear customer communication.

Keep the service department organized, technicians productive, warranty claims moving, and RVs repaired and ready for customers as quickly and efficiently as possible.
