• Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates for residential, commercial, and demolition projects.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs; review plans, specifications, and bid documents; flag scope gaps and constructability concerns.
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor pricing; maintain an accurate cost database.
• Price demolition scopes including selective interior removals, structural demolition, protection, saw‑cutting, dust control, and haul‑off.
• Develop and submit competitive proposals and bid packages on time.
• Partner with project managers on pre‑construction budgets, buy‑out strategy, and change order review.
• Conduct pre‑bid and post‑award site walks; document conditions and clarify logistics.
• Coordinate with estimating and operations teams at Patriot Demolitions to ensure safe and efficient sequencing in combined build/demo projects.
• Continuously refine estimating templates, standards, and cost history libraries for process improvement.

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator with residential remodels, commercial interns, and/or demolition.
• Experience pricing selective and full demo scopes (dust control, phasing, shoring, safety compliance, and debris management).
• Franchise or multi‑site retail/restaurant estimating experience.
• Familiarity with value engineering, buy‑out strategy, and bid leveling.
• Strong blueprint/spec reading and quantity takeoff skills.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and demolition sequencing.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office;
  Job Tread or Bluebeam experience is a plus.
• Sharp math, analysis, and organization; clear, professional communication with clients and subs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to conduct local site visits; able to meet the physical demands of field walks.

• Full‑time, on‑site (Ocala, FL). This role is not remote.
• Base pay: $70,000–$80,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus potential.
