The Role:

Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for media collection for  and  They create virtual tours, floor plans and photography for residential homes using Matterport Pro3 cameras, digital camera equipment, and iPad. Each Associate Photographer has a core territory and will service clients of  and  Appointments are set for defined dates and times to scan homes and apartments, capture virtual tours and floor plans, and perform residential photography for marketing purposes to prospective buyers and renters.

This role works closely with clients, sales, logistics and the management team and is remotely managed by a Photography Manager in local markets.

Responsibilities
  • Support marketing efforts on  and  by capturing high-quality 3-D virtual tours and footprints.
  • Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to capture spaces clearly and attractively.
  • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks.
  • Operate within market areas to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage when not photographing residential properties.
  • Identify new inventory, missing availability, and properties to photograph; abide by safety standards for vehicles and equipment.
  • Represent CoStar professionally at all times and participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements to operate camera equipment and tablet/laptop.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying to perform job functions.
  • Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons and on weekends on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of professional experience;
    Real Estate Photography experience required.
  • Experience as a professional photographer, or a recently earned degree in photography.
  • Drone photography with FAA Part 107 license/certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
  • Strong time management and detail orientation; ability to accurately capture and enter data.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
  • Enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment; field experience preferred.
  • Current and valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record/abstract prior to start.

Compensation:
The Associate Photographer position is hourly plus bonus-eligible, with bonuses paid monthly based on performance against metrics. The stated pay is estimated at $50,000 annually; there is an hourly wage equivalent of about $49,000-$50,000 annually depending on experience, plus a generous benefits plan.
