As part of a well-established and community‑trusted medical group in Ocala, Florida, the organization provides a comprehensive range of specialties — including Endocrinology, Primary Care, Cardiology, Pulmonology, and Diagnostic Imaging — all within a coordinated care environment.

Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Endocrinologist to join its multidisciplinary team in Ocala, FL.

This is a full‑time outpatient opportunity, offering a balanced schedule, manageable patient volume, and access to in‑house lab and diagnostic services. You’ll have the support of a collaborative team, including nurse practitioners, diabetic educators, and experienced clinical staff, all dedicated to improving endocrine health in the community.

Essential Position Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and metabolic disorders.
  • Conduct consultations and follow‑up visits in a dedicated outpatient setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of primary care physicians, diabetic educators, and support staff.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and clinical innovation initiatives.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Engage in patient education and preventive care strategies to promote long‑term wellness.
Qualifications
  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
  • Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology; active Florida medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience: Outpatient or community‑based clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
