This opportunity is for a skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide full‑time support within a K‑12 educational setting, focusing on early childhood development. The assignment involves working on‑site at a single school serving PreK through 2nd grade students, delivering targeted speech and language interventions to promote effective communication skills and support academic success.
Location: Ocala, FL
Assignment Type: Contract (Complete School Year)
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
Hours: Full‑Time (37.5 hours/week)
Setting: On‑site at one school
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for young students exhibiting speech and language challenges
- Deliver evidence‑based speech therapy services to PreK‑2 students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure goals are aligned and progress is monitored
- Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions in compliance with professional and district standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute recommendations to support student achievement
- Valid professional Speech‑Language Pathologist license required
- Current Florida Department of Health license mandatory
- Experience working with early childhood populations in educational settings highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with children and multidisciplinary teams
