Industrial Engineer Sr

Industrial Engineer Sr. – Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team analyzes and improves manufacturing processes, implements lean practices, and ensures optimal efficiency across our operations.

You will lead cross‑functional initiatives that drive productivity, quality, and waste reduction across the manufacturing footprint.

• Lead cross‑functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Drive improvements in productivity and quality.
• Develop layout designs for equipment and work spaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Conduct time studies and data analysis to uncover bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with supply chain to optimize material flow.

• Proficient in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works) for designing and analyzing manufacturing systems.
• Proficiency in using simulation software (e.g., Arena, Simul8, Flex Sim, SIMIO) to model, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Extensive experience in large‑scale facility space planning activities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to drive strategic decision‑making through clear reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Position located in Ocala, Florida.

Must be a U.S. Citizen – this position requires special security access.

Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
