We are seeking a Pharmacist to provide general clinical and pharmacy services, including supervision of technical staff. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and collaborates together.
In this role you will- Interpret orders and transcribe or verify them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system.
- Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
- Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug‑drug interactions, drug‑food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
- Sustain the hospital formulary, minimize non‑formulary procurements, utilize therapeutic interchanges and promote rational drug therapy selection.
- Provide accurate and timely medication information to health‑care staff and patients.
- Assist with clinical services such as drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV to PO, renal dosing and other programs as defined by Pharmacy Leadership.
- Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely.
- Complete notification reports regarding medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
- Effectively supervise pharmacy operation activities and provide support to the whole pharmacy team.
- B.S. or Pharm
D from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy (required). - Minimum of one year of hospital experience is preferred.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate Florida State Board of Pharmacy.

We also host the only inpatient Orthopedic Joint Care Center in Marion County.
